Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph Parish was formed from two of the Chicago's oldest Catholic parishes. Our parish is blessed with a rich history dating back to the late 1800’s, and has been the spiritual homes to thousands of families who have passed their Catholic faith on from one generation to the next.
We have retained records of the sacraments that have been performed for parishioners over the years, including Baptisms, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Weddings and Funerals. A person may need sacramental certificate to verify their baptismal or confirmation, as they prepare for marriage, or when they will serve as a sponsor for a candidate for Confirmation.
To obtain sacramental records pertaining to your family, please contact Jutta Kennan in the Parish Office. Please note, records prior to the early 1900s may be not available due to record conditions.
