August 10: Help Make back-to-school kits for Migrant Children in Chicago

  • Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph Parish 1107 North Orleans Street Chicago, IL, 60610 United States (map)

School is just around the corner, and Harrison Mellon, a Life Scout in Troop 1, is using his Eagle Scout project as an opportunity to help Chicago’s Migrant Children prepare for the new school year! Harrison has a goal of making (at least) 150 backpack back-to-school kits. He has been collecting donations for these kits all summer long and now needs our help in assembling the bags! Lets help him reach this goal in serving Chicago’s migrant population! Join Harrison on Saturday, August 10th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m in the Immaculate Conception Parish Hall. Please RSVP to Elly Rodiguez today — spots are limited!
