The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be celebrated next weekend at the 5:00 p.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Masses. A big misconception is that this is reserved exclusively for the ill. Not so. It is a sacrament for the living, like the other sacraments. It is administered to children, young adults and the elderly as well as those in recovery back to full health.
