We are blown away by the response to our Meal Train for the migrant women and children who will soon be moving into the Madonna House - thank you!!! In December of 2022, our first ‘Pioneer Refugee’ family’s father became a U.S. Citizen. We are thrilled to share that his wife became a citizen in November, enabling their minor children to gain their citizenship also! They are grateful beyond words for the love and support from our ICSJ family of families since their arrival from Kabul, Afghanistan nearly seven years ago where the father had worked with our US Military. He has been employed consistently since their arrival, the mother has beautifully managed the family, and the children have been model students and great athletes at their schools.

Hey ICSJ basketball players, here’s a fun 􀀁activity that you are invited to participate in. All boys and girls ages 9 through 14 are invited to participate in the upcoming Knights of Columbus Free-Throw Compe􀀂􀀂on on Sunday, February 4 at 12:00 PM. The event will take place at the ICSJ gym at 363 West Hill St. Knights basketballs will be awarded in each age/gender category, and winners will have a chance to compete in a District competition, and possibly State and Na􀀂onal events. Please arrive at the gym by 12pm to participate.

A disabled woman living in the Loop is looking for help with groceries at least once a month. She is willing to go to the store to shop for the items and primarily needs assistance with carrying groceries home. Volunteer would need to be masked at all ti􀀂times. RefugeeOne has a current need for families they’ll welcome over the next couple of months. The organization has been provided with 100 Google Pixel phones to give to these families, however the phones did not come with a charging block and cord (USB-C).
