Our Sharing Parish:
Mother of the Americas

We are blessed to share a relationship with Mother of the Americas parish in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. Mother of the Americas was created in 2020 through the Renew My Church effort from the parishes of St. Roman, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and Our Lady of Tepeyac. The staff and parishioners of Mother of the Americas are supported throughout the year by our prayers and financial stewardship. Collections of food, clothing and money help to assist those in need as they share with us the ministry and mission of Jesus Christ.

Mother of the Americas parish also ministers to the inmates at Cook County jail through the Kolbe House Jail Ministry, an agency of the Department of Parish Life and Formation of the Archdiocese of Chicago that deals directly with those in the criminal justice system. Their direct service includes one-to-one visits and pastoral counseling.
