Our Sharing Parish:
Mother of the Americas
We are blessed to share a relationship with Mother of the Americas parish in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. Mother of the Americas was created in 2020 through the Renew My Church effort from the parishes of St. Roman, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and Our Lady of Tepeyac. The staff and parishioners of Mother of the Americas are supported throughout the year by our prayers and financial stewardship.
Sharing Parish Throughout the Year
Each year, we have several opportunities for connection with our friends at Mother of the Americas.
Our Christmas Giving Tree collects food and gifts for the parish which have helped support the renovation of new ministry spaces.
Each summer, we joyfully come together for ICSJ’s Annual Taco Fiesta to celebrate the friendship between ICSJ and Mother of the Americas over good food and conversation.
Three times a year we have a dedicated Second Collection for Mother of the Americas that go directly to supporting their operating budget and the good work they do.
